I know when I was a child, life was more simple. We have really tried to keep life simple for our children. Especially when Lillly was an only child. My philosophy is this "Einstein was a genius and he didn't have battery powered toys" and "The pioneers survived with wooden toys and sticks for guns and swords and they weren't idiots". So when Lilly started talking about how all of friends had DS's, we told her she didn't have to have everything everyone else had. Then we decided that if Lilly wanted the game (which btw, has educational games as well) she could save half of the total amount and then we would pay the other half. It took her a Looooooooonnnnggg time to save the money, but she did it. So, now Lilly is the proud owner of a DS and we have leverage. Ha ha ha.
I want one now.

- This is a blog created to record our family's roller coaster ride of a life. In this blog you will read about everyday life with us. You will learn that Lilly loves cheer and Trev is ALL BOY! We are quite the busy family. Besides Lilly's cheer practice that goes on 4 times a week (3 hours each day) we also take Master T to 2 soccer practices a week & one soccer game each weekend. How do we find time to throw the parties & get togethers that we have each month, or do homework, or clean the house, or grocery shop, or just spend time together, you may ask. Skill, people. It is a balancing act.
