This is a blog created to record our family's roller coaster ride of a life. In this blog you will read about everyday life with us. You will learn that Lilly loves cheer and Trev is ALL BOY! We are quite the busy family. Besides Lilly's cheer practice that goes on 4 times a week (3 hours each day) we also take Master T to 2 soccer practices a week & one soccer game each weekend. How do we find time to throw the parties & get togethers that we have each month, or do homework, or clean the house, or grocery shop, or just spend time together, you may ask. Skill, people. It is a balancing act.

Christmas 2010-

Christmas eve at Aunt Renee's house.
We spent a wonderful Christmas here in Leland.  Emma came to visit and we made a ginger bread house with her and Lilly's friend Tyshea. On Christmas Eve we went to Aunt Renee's and spent time with Na-Na,  Aunt Ashley, Aunt Heather & everyone else!  Our traditional Christmas Eve with our family & friends are always wonderful & something that we really look forward to.
Christmas morning.

On Christmas morning we woke up with the children and watched them unwrap gifts.  That is always fun to watch.

Frying the turkey.
In the early afternoon Uncle Alex, Uncle Jeremy, & Paps came over.  Nealsie & Jeremy Fried the turkey while Alex & I worked in the kitchen.  Paps played with Lilly & Trevor.  We had a delicious dinner
& a wonderful time with them.

Two days later, we spent time with Granny, Grandma Rosie, and Gramps at Granny's abode.  We had a lovely dinner, unwrapped gifts, the boys went "hunting", and the girls stayed behind and played Monopoly.  It is always so nice to visit with Granny and Nealsie's parents.

We are so thankful for all of our family and friends.  Especially during the holidays.  The holidays are the time that I realize who is missing at the dinner table and who is present.  During those times, I thank God for the time that I had with my mother and think of the good memories we had while she was here.  I am very thankful for being able to spend special moments like these with my father, especially.  I think of the little one's here (and there) and how they will be grown one day.  The house will be quiet for a few years....until the grandchildren come.  For now, I soak up the love, laughter, screaming, crying, and fighting.
